TFTP: Looking for jar75sip.9-1-1TH1-16.sbn

Hi there,

I have a CME/CUCME 8.6 running on ISR G2 2901 router,

I am trying to register a 7975 phone? I am woundering why it is looking for SIP jar file?

Is it not that SCCP should be default? Or not ? what is the reason it is looking for SIP?

I am not able to register this phone any sugguestions?

I have tried no create cnf-files and create cnf file, and also no create profile and create profle,

Also I have added the load command for the specfic phone type

Also I have added the tftp- command on the gloabal along with the alias command?

Anything I have missed?

The phone continues to reboot and go in a loop, and this is what I get in the bebug messages;

Mohammed,

First of all you need to check what firmware is on the phone at the moment. If the firmware on the phone is earlier than 8.5 release then you need to downgrade the firmware on your ccme to an 8.5 release. Phones firmware prior to 8.5 release cant migrate directly to a 9.x release. So I suggest you start from there.

Hi There,

Because the phone is in the reboot cycles, I can not see what firmware it is holding.

However, what I did was , I disconnected the IP Phone from CUCME 8.6 and connected to 8.0 CUCM.

So, the phones shows SCCP 75.9-0-3S, then I again connected to CUCME, the debug errors have changed to

But when I again when I did factory default on the phone, the old erros have re-appeared, i.e,
