The PC port on a 8861 phone is not working. How do I troubleshoot it?

My manager is attempting to connect a computer the PC port of his 8861 phone but he is not getting connectivity. He plugged the same device directly into the wall and got connectivity.

I checked the config and saw that "PC port" is enabled. I then replaced the phone and he still is not getting connectivity.

I don't know where to go from here.

Any advice ideas would be appreciated.

We rebooted the new phone once again and it fixed the problem.
