Hi,
I have an issue on CUCM 8.6.2 of transfer. When I tried to hit transfer button on the Cisco 7962 phone, there is about 7-8 seconds delay until I can hear the dial tone. Also when the person pickup the call that I transfer into, they can't hear each other until 3-5 seconds later.
I checked the network status and QoS config on the router, they are all good. Pinged from router to CUCM delay is 45ms.
Do any one have an idea about that?
Thanks
Wes

Sounds almost like a code yellow situation. What does CUCM look like from a CPU/memory/disk I/O perspective? Do you see syslog alarms warning of low memory or anything?
Assuming CUCM is healthy, you would need to pull CUCM SDI/SDL traces and look through them to see what happens how long it takes CUCM to receive the SCCP packet. Assuming it shows up on time the next question is what happens in the logs until CUCM sends the needed responses. If you're not comfortable reading CUCM logs it's probably time for a TAC case.
Please remember to rate helpful responses and identify helpful or correct answers.

Hi Wes,
As jonathan said please check the CPU utilization of the sytem by using the Rtmt tool. You can aslo take packet captures from the phone and call processing node to which the phone is registered to check if there is network delay.
Thanks
