Trasnfer problem in SIP trunk

Hello All,

we have this scenario: CUCM that have SIP trunk to ISP direct, we create SIP TRUNK and everything is working fine and we enable MTP..

when a call is coming from ISP and we received it and try to transfer a call to Internal user the call is disconnect direct..

Hi Ahmad,

Which CUCM version are you running?

Also MTP should be inserted only if it is required ( Usually with older phone models and h323 endpoints or DTMF support ) however it  will increase the overhead on CUCM as each call will be nailed up to the CUCM and RTP will be flowing via CUCM.

I suggest you collect the CCM traces for a failed call .thanks

Hi Deepak,

i solved the problem, when the call was received from ISP to CUCM ip phone i was using G711 when it transfer the destination end point using g729 so the call will disconnect or we need to implement Transcoder , so i change the codec from G729 to G711 and it's working fine...
