Troubleshooting MPLS & SCCP

Hello friends, I write this time because I have a trouble with a service provider cloud.

I have an Office with VoIP solution connected through a service provider cloud (who uses Juniper routers). This cloud have been configured with MPLS and is connected at the other side of the cloud with a router, then to the Switch Core and finally to the Call Manager. The topology is like this:

topology.jpg

This is the story: if we have the connection with the service provider WAN, the telephones at the office suffers troubles of registry, it takes its data from Call Manager, and then of a few minutes, the connection with Call Manager dissapears and we see that telephone as Not Register, then it came back to register state and few minutes later as not register and so on.

In the other hand, when I use the Radio Link with statics routes, it works really great! the telephones doesn't miss the register with the Call Manager, and the quality of the calls are really good. (this link is for Data and a couple of Video Vigilance Cameras, the WAN is dedicated just for voice).

What do you think is happen? My routes are ok, in all the routers I see the voice IP from the office (learned by BGP when the WAN is UP or now, statically configurated). Maybe, I think, there's a protocol inside the Cloud which is making any problem with SCCP protocol, but I'm not sure about that.

Hope you can help me, sorry for the long post, but I'm really intrigued about this thing.

Thanks a lot!

Eduardo,

I have seen issues with juniper and sccp.

There seems to be an issue if the juniper side is running alg.

Speak with your service provider and ask for alg to be disabled for sccp

Google juniper issues with sccp and you will see some links
