trunk line busy indication on all ip phones when the line is busy.

Hi,

I have two trunk lines(say X & Y) and a pbx line (Z) . I have configured six phones on which these lines are going to be used.

If I make a call from phone A, from line X, than all other phones should get indication that line X is busy and user must use other line.

Pl guide how to do the configuration on CUCM having version 8.0.3.20000-2 .

The phones in use are Cisco- 7962 and 7975.

I don't follow. Isn't there a way for you to route around the busied out line?  If you are using MGCP gateways and have configured each line as a separate MGCP endpoint, then you can use route groups to route around the busied out line. If you are using H.323, you can leverage dial-peer configurations to "hunt" through the lines.

But, to answer your direct question: I don't know of a way to send an indication to an IP phone that a remote trunk is in use.
