I have a UC540 setup to call a cell phone for voicemail notification. The outbound call works great assuming the user can pickup the call within about 4 seconds. After about 4 seconds the call terminates. I have changed the hang up timer but the call time is uneffected. Calls are being placed/received on a PRI not fxo
Thanks in advance

Hi
From CLI of the service engine
se-10-0-0-0(config)# voicemail notification connect-timeout 30 (Value from 12 - 96 secs)
I know you said yor timeout seems to be about 4 seconds but it is probaly 12 with about 8 to make the call
To see what the value is before making a change use
se-10-0-0-0# show voicemail notification
I beleive you should see this on the CUE GUI too.

Hey Alex, thank you for the reply.
Currently I have it set at 90 seconds, below is the output. If the outbound dialing was accounting for most of that time I would expect that by moving the time to a lower value the phone would ring a shorter period or not at all. However, the ring does not change regardless of what I alter the timer to.
Thanks!
se-10-1-1-105# sho voicemail not
