We're needing to upgrade our customers server so it has the latest windows patches.
The server is currently running Cisco OS 2003.1.5aSR10 and UCCX 7.0(1)SR05. We've been
advised to get certain critical windows patches applied, but can see in the Cisco OS
release that these aren't contained until 2003.1.5a SR25 with SR25 updates 1-10.
So ideally we need to apply these, but the UCCX compatibility matrix only shows that SR19 is
compatible with 7.0(1)SR05.
This is TAC's response
"For this matter and based on the compatibility matrix, the supported version
is SR19. This is because this was the version that was tested and supported
to be used for UCCX 7.0(1)SR5. SR25 is assumed to be compatible with UCCX
but, since it is not listed on the Compatibility matrix of UCCX, this means
that it was not fully tested to be used for UCCX so, it could create issues
with the application itself."
So a question for anyone who may've actually done this on a production system.
Has anyone patched to 2003.1.5a SR25 ? With then the individual 1-10 patches in that SR?
Have you come across any problems within UCCX or has it been perfectly fine?
