I am having a SIP issue on UCM with call forwarding and caller ID.
If I enable privacy header under voice service voip/sip, I no longer receive caller ID on incoming calls.
However, if I remove this command caller ID will work but DN call forwarding from external callers breaks with this removed. (DN is forwarded to a cell, calling from an on net device the forwarding works fine. From on offnet external number it does not).
Any help would be appreciated.

Are you passing Diversion header or PAI to the service provider? It’s quite common for service providers to require Diversion header to allow call forwarding. Optionally if Diversion header isn’t what they use it would for the most be PAI.

Here is my SIP settings under voice service voip. Do you recommend removing asserted-ID PAI?
sip
session transport tcp
rel1xx disable
header-passing
error-passthru
registrar server expires max 1200 min 60
asserted-id pai
privacy header
early-offer forced
midcall-signaling passthru
privacy-policy passthru
privacy-policy send-always
call-route url

No, but I would suggest that you look at the SIP dialog and see if you send either Diversion or PAI in the invite to your service provider.
