Need help with two issues,
Issue 1 – Unable to initialize keyboard mapping. How do I get rid of this message, it stops Communicator from starting up. Version 8.6.6.0
Issue 2 – Can't register Communicator with CUCM, status rejected
Call Manager 10.5

Hi Carlos,
First issue could be related to roaming or local profiles as described in the following post with similar error

For second issue, can you try adding the CIPC manually on cucm. Do you get the same error when adding it manually? Are there sufficient licenses available on cucm to register new devices?
