Unable to upgrade 7911 firmware in CME 8.1

Hi

I am unable to upgrade my 7911 firmware on a 2911 router running CME 8.1. The phones were taken from a CCM 6 installation running SCCP11.8-3-2S.

The phones run the SCCP11.8-3-2S in the CME 8.1 but I cannot upgrade to even a version higher. I get the following debug tftp events and packets:

*Oc*Oct 6 21:22:12.543 CAT: TFTP: Looking for SCCP11.8-4-4S.loads
*Oct 6 21:22:12.543 CAT: TFTP: Sending error 1 No such file

According to the trace it always says that SCCP11.8-4-4S.loads (the firmware I want to upgrade to for example) does not exist.

I'm using loadd 7911 SCCP11.8-4-4S under the Telephony-service. All files have also been uploaded to flash.

I have never had CME phone load troubles with the 2800 routers. Please help me

Hello there,

Let's check a few things first....

1. Do you have SCCP11.8-4-4S files in the flash of the CME ?

2. Do you have tftp-server command properly configured ?

3. Did u configure proper load command and then issued no create/create CLI ?

3. Can u pl. share:

sh ver

sh run

sh flash

sh telephony tftp
