Unity Conncetion Messages Key ringing instead of connecting straight to voicemail

Hi All,

I have a customer who has CUCM 10.5 and CUC 10.5. Previously when they pressed the messaging key it connectd straight to voicemail. Now when they press the messages key it is ringin 4 or 5 times before connecting.

Has anyone come across this before and know how to resolve it?

What integration do you use between CUCM and CUC, is it SIP or SCCP?

Do you have cluster of 2 CUC servers? Sounds like your primary server is not answering and calls are going to secondary server, you can confirm by looking what IP address you connect to or using Unity Port Monitor.
