Unity post greeting delay

I have a standard greeting on our Unity 8.6 setup but as soon as the greeting is finished it goes immediately to transfer to the operator, which is what I want but I want at least a 6 second delay before the transfer happens.

I tried changing the "Delay between Re-prompts" field as some other posts suggested but it seems to have no effect at all.  Ive also manually created a greeting with 6 seconds of silence at the end but unity is SO helpful that it automatically chops the silence off the WAV file for me after i save it.

My current setup is, outside dialer calls 6700, gets "standard greeting", after the greeting goes to call handler "Operator" which is the operator extension.

Is there somehting Ive missed or should this work?

Hi there,

The post greeting delay won't kick in unless you set the times

to reprompt to at least 1 so that may not be what you want.

You can use ATM from the great suite of Unity Tools to insert silence

into a recorded greeting as well. I have tested this and it works well

http://www.ciscounitytools.com/Applications/CxN/ATM/Help/ConnectionAudiotextManager.htm

This is a fantastic tool as are all the tools from Jeff & his team.

Cheers!

Thanks Ill try it, not sure why it would matter what audio editing tool I use.  I just assume its a WAV file regardless but ill give it shot anyway.

There is a special feature within the tool that will actually

insert x - seconds of silence that will be respected by CUC.

Believe me it works

Cheers!

Seems like overkill just to do such a small thing but ATM worked.
