hi
i have a cisco unity in unified messaging mode, integrated with client exchange and active directory ..
can i create voice mail only users on Unity without having to create them on active directory and having exchnage mail account
i tried inyernet subsciber but i tried to press message button on the phone to access my voicemail .. it still gives cisco unity messaging system ... general message not enter ur password .... message
please help

No, each Unity subscriber must have an AD account and Exchange mailbox. You can create VM only users by creating a separate account for VM not tied to a user's existing AD account.

Essentially. Each VM only mailbox will need an AD account. You can name it something like user-vm to differentiate.
