Hi,
I am not dedicated voice guy but got task to remove server from Disaster Recovery System Scheduler because it keeps sending alert email as below:
Backup process failed. Investigate sftp server settings. Reason : DRF was unable to backup component PLATFORM.Error : Host [CMSUB2] has disconnected during backup AppID : Cisco DRF Master ClusterID :
NodeID : CMPUB1
TimeStamp : Thu Oct 17 03:44:42 PDT 2013.
The alarm is generated on Thu Oct 17 03:44:42 PDT 2013.
We just shudown the backup CUCM (CMSUB2) so that's why the mail started sending out.
Could you kindly advise how I can remove the shutdown CUCM from Scheduler of DRS registerred server so that it won't keep sending out backup error email ?
CUCM verison 8.5.1
Thanks a lot !

Hi Scott,
You will continue to get these errors unless the CMSUB2 is deleted
from the CUCM db and then the cluster is rebooted

Cheers!

Hi Rob,
Do I need to reboot both CUCM (Master and Cluster) or just reboot the cluster one ?
Thanks in advance,

Hi Scott,
The cluster = all servers (Pub & Sub(s))

Hi Rob,
Another question, which service I need restart after removing none-used server. The "Cisco CallManager" in CM Service ?
Snce in Cisco Unified Serviceability --> Control Center --> Feature Services, I am seeing there are many running services.
Just need restart the one "Cisco CallManager" or also need restart others.
Thank you,

Hi Scott,
In this case you would need to restart the whole server rather
than just a sub-set of services
from cli;
utils system restart
Can be done via gui as well.
Cisco Unified OS Admin" page, select "Settings" > version > restart
Cheers!
