Update language IP Phone from CUCM 12.5

Hi all,

 

Please can you share the procedure to install and upgrade the language for Ip phone.

In CUCM the term "Locale" is used.   You need to install the desired Locale onto all the CUCM servers, it needs to match CUCM Majour and Minor version (ie 12.5 in your case).  Download from here if you haven't got it already ..

Install on the Publisher first, then each Subscriber.  Reboot each server to complete the process.

You can apply the Locale either on a phone by phone basis under "User Locale", or in a Common Device Configuration from which the members will inherit it.  Depends on how you've set your system.  Network Locale can be applied to the device pool, or again phone by phone.
