Upgrade Call Manager Software 7.1.5.10000-12

We are currently on Call Manager version 7.1.5.10000-12 running on specs below. Can someone helo us understand what version we can upgrade to? And also how difficult it is? Where can we start?

As you can tell we are new to this so any insight would be much appreciated:

Are u using BE since this is BE appliance ?

can u share the show version active output from CLI using putty.

I'm not sure what BE is. This is the applianc e where Call Manager is installed.

It is BE 5000.

You can upgrade CUCM to 9.0(x) and 9.1(x).Please refer the link

u can follow the upgrade path 7.1(5 )------> 8.5(1) Unrestricted-------> 8.6.2.21900-5 Unrestricted ------->  9.1.1.20000-5 Unrestricted

Also, cop files would be required.

I would suggest to speak to Cisco SE since I have never upgraded the BE.

Looking through our contract info, it's actually model MCS7828I4-K9-WL which I don't see in your link. Thanks for the info.

I think this server comes with default of 50 CUWL licenses.
