Upgrade Cisco IP Phone 7942G

Hi Everyone.

I need to upgrade an IP Phone 7942G From SCCP version to a SIP Version.

I change mannualy the network options on the phone for the tftp server.

The files in the tftp are:

apps42.9-4-2TH1-1.sbn

cnu42.9-4-2TH1-1.sbn

cvm42sip.9-4-2TH1-1.sbn

dsp42.9-4-2TH1-1.sbn

jar42sip.9-4-2TH1-1.sbn

SIP42.9-4-2-1S.loads

term42.default.loads

term62.default.loads

but in fact, i dont know witch more i need to do

Hi,

It depends on whether you are using a cme/cucm ? you need to point to the new load so that the phones will start downloading the firmware from the tftp server.
