Upgrading CUCM/Unity Connection when running on insufficient Licenses

Hi,

We are planning to upgrade our Unity Connection from 10.5 to 11.5 next month.

But, we have a situation wherein the contract tied to the licenses on the Unity Connection is expiring in a few days from now. So we have decided to upgrade the license before the actual upgrade of the application and put them in PLM 11.5. This will make the unity connection run with insufficient licenses since the application is in 10.5 and licenses in 11.5.

Can we upgrade Unity Connection (or for that matter CUCM) without clearing the license warning?

yes,during the license grace period, you'll still be able to upgrade UCNx

Hi Libin,

Which version of UCCX are you coming from?

Even on uccx you could have a Grace period where upgrade to the final desired release.

so yes, so will have a grace period that will let you to upgrade to your final release
