Hey all,
I have a requirement (logistical 3rd party issue) to upgrade the JTAPI version on CUCM 8.0.3x to a newer version used in later version of CUCM. But I would wnat to do it this way:-
Upgrading JTAPI separate from CUCM Upgrade
Upgrade version of JTAPI, on current CUCM Version 8.0.3-10000-8, independent of going to new CUCM version as below:-
- Upgrade JTAPI on 3rd parties connections to cm-jtapi-plugin-8.0.3.22900-2
Q1 - anyone got a process for upgarding JTAPI on it's own?
Q2 - anyone got any inoput\notes\concerns on doing this?
Many thanks.

You can't upgrade just JTAPI on call manager, you have to upgrade call manager to get an updated JTAPI version on the linux/appliance versions.

I agree with joemar2, You should not just upgrade the JTAPI from anything else except from the CCM Plugin`s- Upgrade CCM for the new JTAPI or tell the 3rd party to work around it. Cisco TAC may not help out if you have to log a call if the JTAPI does not match CCM
