Hi,
I have a query about UCL licensing and the CUCM License Unit Calculator tool, if anyone can help please.
We have a mixture of 7940, 7941 & 7960 handsets which total a number of 415 handsets and have purchased the following licensing:
MIG-CUCM-USR-A x 415
UCM-7825-86 x 2
UCSS-UCM-3-1-A x 415
When I applied one of the License files to CUCM the License Unit Report shows that 830 units are authorised.
License Unit Calculator reports that each handset of the above type consumes 4 units so for 415 handsets I'd require 1660 units.
Is the difference in the numbers above because CUCM 8.5 isn't UCL aware yet and do I ignore the figures in the License Unit Report.
Regards,
Mark

My question was resolved using the info from the following thread:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2093050
I didn't use DMA tool on Call Manager 4.1(3)sr3 so Cisco Licensing support team sent me a DLU calculator (Excel spreadsheet).
I filled in the info and they sent me a new license with the appropriate DLU's.
