users private lines

I have a question regarding pots lines into the system in a pbx mode.When I assign a line to a button on a user's phone to give the user the correct outbound caller Id. Will the incomming calls  on that private line go to that users mailbox on a ring no answer ?

That depends on the configuration, you can configure if you want a call forward behavior or just let it ring.

When you say configuration the phone is already configured to go to vmail on a RNA or busy. But the lines after you set them up there's not much you can do on a fxo port through the GUI interface. They are already assigned to the user as a direct C.O.  should this work.
