I have a CUBE deployment Cisco 2911 15.41T1 running fine, sip trunks to UCM 10.5.1 and to the SIP provider, again running fine. The designers of this project specified that a 2-port FXO is installed in this cube to support a Bogen TAMB unit, not the TAMB2. My issue is that when paging, the FXO port opens, the audio for paging is not there. Debugs and captures shows no audio at all is present after the alerting tone, just dead air.
So my question is two part:
1. is there a CUBE best practices doc that talks to permitting or not permitting the use of FXO/FXS in the CUBE?
2. CUBE is obviously SIP to UCM and SIP to PSTN, no H.323 config just SCCP. Is there something I can do in the POTS peer to use xcode or something to help this dead air issue?
The CUBE FXO port unplugged from the TAMB and buttset in use on the TAMB, and paging works so I know the analog paging system works, problem seems MTP/XCode related between the FXO port and the SIP trunks. I have a TAC case open, they are scratching various anatomical parts in sequence, no known reason why this doesn't work.
