Hi
We are in the process of deploying a VOIP infrastructure for one of our remote sites. As part of the deployment process we need to validate if the phones are registered, and if inbound/outbound calls works fine. There are no resources available onsite to do the testing physically to confirm if inbound/outbound works fine. The phone registration part can be checked online from the CUCM webpage but is there a way we could test the inbound/outbound calling sitting remotely?
Some tool which could be used to simulate inbound/outbound calls remotely and confirm everything works fine?

There are some tools that do this. One of them is: http://www.unifiedfx.com/phoneview
You can test the trial version.
What I would also suggest is installing Cisco Jabber to a desktop at the remote site, which you could control through RDP.

Thanks Georgios!!
Yes we did think about Phone view but have few queries about it
1.would it give us an option to answer an inbound call?

Phoneview you give you the opportunity to make/answer calls. Jabber would allow verify you to the call flow, and if it as supposed.
Phoneview has now a free lab version; it will do the job for you.
