We are experiencing some issues with a VG204XM connected to an external DC backup power source.
We are hoping to find some information that could confirm the maximum input voltage rating of the VG204XM to exclude overdriving the input from our investigation.
Unfortunately the datasheet simply states the DC Input rating is 12V.
I would imagine it would be minimally rated for a 12V +/-10% - possibly even a 12V +/-20%?
Does anyone have any information regarding the actual min/max input specifications or the existance of any overvoltage protection mechanisms (OVLO, etc.) in the device itself?

I doubt that you will find the answer to this question on this forum, but you might be lucky. In general if the specifications says 12V that’s what the limit would be. On the overvoltage protection, AFAIK there are no such in these.
