VG224/04/02 not registering after migrating to new CUCM

Our CUCM is being migrated from 10.5 to 12.5 as well as transferring from one service provider to another.  So all the CUCMs are changing.  We started migrating sites this past week and when we updated the IP addresses for the VGs, the change saved, but all the devices are coming up as unregistered.

If someone has gone through this, can you tell me exactly what needs to be done to change the VGs to the new CUCM and if and what needs to be done on the CUCM?  

The service providers are setting up a troubleshooting session, but I would have expected someone with either provider to have some knowledge of what needs to be done during the migration. 

All my knowledge is self taught and what I have Googled.   So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please start by sharing your configuration from the VG so that we can verify it. Also please share the IP information for the new and old CMs that it integrates with.
