VG224 cannot fax/call to external

Hello,

we are experiencing an identical problem with fax in two different locations. We plugged an analog telephone into the VG224 Patchpanel, we can call the phone from external (sometimes it rings sometimes not, but you can answer the call). But the problem is, we cannot call outside to PSTN or internal to a VOIP Phone, I cannot see anything on the Voice Gateway. The problem exists in two different locations, which are separated but they run over the same CUCM Subscriber in again a different location. Both concerned locations got their own Voice Gateway.

Since you are using SCCP for the control of the analog ports you need to check on CUCM side to ensure the ports have proper CSS/Device Pool assigned to make calls. Compare the CSS on the device/line to an IP phone at the same location.

Just adding to the point of Chris, the easiest way to do would be do a DNA from those ports.

Thanks for the answers, but CSS etc. are ok. Also the output from the DNA. This worked till last Wednesday. I made some traces on the VG and I can see that the first one or two calls are delivered to the end device. After that I can only see a ringing for about one second and then nothing is happening.I attached the trace file.
