VG224 - Original NVCONFIG doesn't have correct MAGIC number

Hi

We have VG224 on production.

Since it was not responding, we restarted VG224. After restart,

We are getting "Original NVCONFIG doesn't have correct MAGIC number" error while bootup.

We did power restart few times. Also, we have reloaded this device using FLASH of  another  working VG224 to makes sure IOS is not corrupted.

Even after also, error is same.

Pls. suggest.

I have attached the screenshot of the problem.

NVCONFIG

This is the start up config file which resides in the NVRAM

I think your NVRAM is corrupt

I hope you have kept a copy of your config file off the box as I think you need to replace the VG224.

You could try

enable mode

dir nvram:

Look to see if your config file is present.

Try booting to box into ROMMON

change config reg to 0x2142

reset

Then box may come up as default.

enable mode

show start

try erase startup

then change conf reg back to 0x2102

reload

and then reconfigure
