VG350 Voice Gateway

Good morning everyone,

We have just installed a CareHawk overhead paging system and it requires a analog FXO port. it provides all required voltages for ring tone.

For our Analog phones that we are using is the VG350 voice gateway.  I know the VG350 has the FXS ports, but I was told that they have no FXO ports.  All in the nutshell we need the Carehawk system plugged into a FXO port so we can dial a number and access the system.

Any Ideas anyone?

You can either add FXO module onto voice gateway (ISR) or you can get paging adapter such as TAMB2 to convert between FXO and FXS.

The TAMB2 I so not think will work, it seems that it is designed to add music to a paging system.

On the other hand the FXO module you were talking about, do you know which one will work with the VG350 voice gateway?

TAMB2 does work well for what you are looking to do, I have done it many times.

As to FXO module it does not go into the VG350 it goes into your PSTN GW, the module model depends on what router you have i.e. ISR G1, ISR G2, ISR 4K.
