VIC-4FXS/DID Hardware Fault or Configuration fault - that is the question

I’m trying to set up a VIC-4FXS/DID but to no avail. I’m trying to work out if I have a config issue or a faulty FXS card.
 
  • I have tried the card in a 2801 and 2811 both with PVDM 2 64 DSP’s running CME 8.6 IOS C2801-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M), Version 15.1(4)M10
  • I’ve tried both STCAPP/SCCP method as well as using a standard pots dial peer with a destination pattern. (see config below) - so there are 2 analog extensions that I’m testing with and one soft phone that I’m using to place the calls to the analog lines.

 

  • The issue is that I don’t get dial tone when I lift the analog receiver, neither can I get the analog handset to ring when I call it from the softphone.
  • I've tested all FXS ports to no avail
  • Note that the 'In Use' light next to the FXS port in question DOES light up when I dial the associated extension

Here are some pertinent show commands used so far when troubleshooting…

These commands were used before and whilst placing a call from the soft phone…

All looks good as far as I can tell, just the handset doesn’t ring neither can I answer the call from the handset (I’ve used multiple handsets and tested them using a PSTN line so I know they’re good - I’m in Australia btw)

With my limited voice experience, I’m at a dead end and wondering if this is simply just a hardware fault. I don't think I'm missing anything in terms of configuration?

Can anyone suggest any further testing or confirm if this looks like a hardware/config issue?
