I have a scenario where I have 20 extensions in no particular order. I presently map DIDs inbound to these 20 extensions using these translation rules which works fine.
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /^6880$/ /7250/
rule 2 /^6881$/ /7106/
...
rule 10 /^6883$/ /7245/
voice translation-rule 2
rule 1 /^6890$/ /7230/
....
rule 10 /^6891$/ /7225/
I now need to have the reverse take effect when making outbound calls. So if extension 7230 makes an oubound call it would show on the Caller ID as 6890.
I am only able to apply one translation profile to the outbound POTs peer but this only will accomodate half the translations.
How do I get all these translations to appear on a single outbound POTS?

dial-peer voice xx voip
answer-address yy
translation-profile kk incoming
codec g711a
no vad
Then make as many profiles and ruleseare needed.

How the call comes in ? You can translate via individual voip DPs with answer-address.

Not sure I understand. Inbound calls are working using the dial-peers below. How do I accomplish the same thing but for outbound dialing?
dial-peer voice 702 pots
translation-profile incoming DID1
incoming called-number 688.
direct-inward-dial
!
dial-peer voice 703 pots
translation-profile incoming DID2
incoming called-number 689.
direct-inward-dial

Where the calls are going ?
You can have incoming voip DP and apply answer-address there.

Below is what have done so far. Could you provide an example of how this would be done using answer-address?
voice translation-rule 3
rule 1 /^7230$/ /5552226890/
voice translation-profile DID3
translate calling 3
dial-peer voice 100 pots
trunkgroup 1
translation-profile outgoing DID3
destination-pattern 9[2-9]......
direct-inward-dial
forward-digits 7

Can you answer my question? Do you have CM or CME ?

We have centralized CM and will be using SRST (fallback) at this site.

I am just missing how this is going to work for outbound calls. In your example which command is triggering the outbound translation to the PSTN.
Thanks

Please review the fundamentals of Cisco VoIP. for each call there is an incoming and an outgoing DP, you can use either or both for number manipulation.

I reviewed the doc and I was able to get it working using the answer-address.
