this problem arose today and I am stumped. Our voice paging system is giving off a busy signal. i would go around check the phones to see if one is perhaps "off the hook" but there are about 350 on this site and i dont have the time. PLEASE HELP!

Hi Don,
I'm not sure how your Paging system is connected, but I'm guessing via FXS or ATA (maybe VG port). In any case, I would think that you could do a reset of the specified port and it would clear the call. Failing that you could just disconnect the line to the Paging system as well.

If you have paging that connects to the system via CTI, check to see that the CTI ports are registered. There may be a routing issue to the paging server or ports need to be reset.
