Hi all,
I have a 2951ISR and have installed two PVDM3-32 modules into it. I have installed the UC license and but cannot get enter any of the voice-port commands and get the following:
Router(config)#voice-port 0/0/0:15
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
The hardware all shows up in the show diag:
Slot 0:
C2951 Mother board 3GE, integrated VPN and 4W Port adapter, 4 ports
.
.
.
PVDM Slot 0:
32-channel (G.711) Voice/Fax PVDM3 DSP DIMM PVDM daughter card
Hardware Revision : 1.0
.
.
.
PVDM Slot 1:
32-channel (G.711) Voice/Fax PVDM3 DSP DIMM PVDM daughter card
Hardware Revision : 1.0
.
.
.
WIC Slot 0:
VWIC3-1MFT-T1/E1 - 1-Port RJ-48 Multiflex Trunk - T1/E1
Hardware Revision : 1.0
But under show voice port summary and show voice dsps, the output is blank:
Router#show voice port summary

I only have a very basic config on the router for testing:

Could this be a hardware issue or have I configured something incorrectly?
Many thanks

Hi Sean,
You need to create the pri-group under the controller in order to create the logical voice-port.

You need to configure your PRI and change the controller into a voice port.
Isdn switch-type primary-ni
Controller t1 0/0/0
pri-group timeslots 1-24

D'oh! I had the timeslots in earlier and then had to reboot the router and obviously didn't save it, so have been trying to fix a problem that wasn't there! Many thanks for pointing out my stupidity!

Hi Sean,
D'oh indeed, it always turns out to be the simplest of things at times which we often overlook. Cheers for the rating, and for the record 'copy run start'. :-)
Regards
Allan.
