Hi all,
I've got a Callmanager 3.3 cluster running with two 2811 running as voicegateways with srst funcionality.
If the connection between the ccm and the voicegateway is lost, the e1 interfaces are admin shut on the gateway..
Can anyone tell me why this is and more importantly how I can prevent this?
Thanks in advance,
Floyd

The callmanager is on cotrol of the gateway configuration, when connectivity is lost, it can just shut down interfaces on its own, and not bring them back up. You can do the following steps:
Unplug the ethernet, and replug after a few moments
Monitor the E1's to see if they both come up again. Please use the commands such as "sh isdn status" "sh controller e1" "sh mgcp endpoint" and check the GW re-registers with the CCM correctly "sh ccm"

Hi,
Thx for your reply, we found out we were affected by Bug CSCs178850
we downgraded our IOS and all seems fine at the moment.
