Hi,
I have a setup with two offices connected through voip FXO Branch 1 and FXS branch 2.
When a user Br1 calls user 1 in Br2 this works, the problem is that user 1 in Br2 is not able to transfer the call to another FXS port in the same router!!!
any help?
Good day

It might be FXO disconnect problem .Understanding FXO Disconnect Problem.

Wissam,
A couple of questions for you:
1. How exactly is user_1 attempting to transfer, and where in that process is the transfer failing?
2. What protocol is controlling the FXS ports on the gateway - MGCP, SCCP, SIP, H.323, SRST, CCME? Can you post the configuration here?
Thanks,
Michael.

Hi,
basically it is POTS/VOIP configuration no CME is involved. Only H323 is working as protocol.
user_1 press the hookflash or the flash buttom on the analogue phone and calls the other FXS number.
I read couple of articls and it is ating it is not supported.

Hi Wissam,
You are right that it is not supported where the call is being transferred from an analog phone on one FXS port to another internal phone.
When the gateway is SCCP controlled, such functionality is available with Feature Mode.
Feature Mode for SCCP FXS Ports in Cisco IOS

Hookflash Relay is also available. With hookflash relay you have two gatways where one has an FXS port and the other has an FXO port connecting to either the PSTN or to a PBX switch. Here's the description:
Translation of FXS Hookflash Relay

Hope this helps.

Michael.

Hi,
thanks for your help, "Feature Mode for SCCP FXS Ports in Cisco IOS" i only need to issue this command and it will do the work, or i need to configure sccp at the gatway level, like control the FXS, sccp local, etc...
Good day
