The CTI ID found under System > Cisco Unified CM, is also known as the node ID. It's a number used internally to identify different servers for communications such as intracluster communication (SDL signaling). When you reinstall a node it gets a new node ID so these numbers can change but typically the publisher is node 1, the first subscriber installed is node 2, etc.
