which sftp software recommendations for cucm upgrade?

Hi all,

I'm having some issues while im trying to upgrade cucm .

I have used different clients however with no succes.

issues like :

wrong username password

could not connect to remote location.

Filezilla

solarwinds

freeftpd

core ftp

None of these have worked for me.

besides of that ive understood that some of them have limitations.

Does anyone know a sftp/ftp client which i can use for cucm upgrade from v9.1 to 11.5

Hi

There is not such recommendation from Cisco, we only recommend SFTP for DRS Backup that too because they are tested ones nohing else.

SFTP servers are supported and recommended. You can use any one of these SFTP servers:

• Open SSH—for Unix systems

• Cygwin

• Titan

• GlobalSCAPE EFT Server—formerly known as GlobalSCAPE's Secure FTP Server

its not specific for backup but its for upgrade my cucm servers and other servers.

Hi,

I understand that that is specifcally i have mentioned at the top there is no such recommendation for SFTP for upgrade purpose.

You should take PCAP from both CUCM and SFTP to see what is goign wrong.
