Hello,
I'm trying to figure out which wireless headset to buy as a gift for someone who uses Cisco IP 7941 at work in a call center.
Not sure how the Cisco phone works, but they are currently using a wired headset that automatically pick up calls without having to lift up the reciever or press the headset button on the phone base. I was wondering which wireless headset would be able to do this.
Thanks in advance!

Any of the plantronics headsets work well. Make sure you get the hook switch adapter as well so that the headset will not require a lifter.

I had read somewhere that the hookswitch adapter isn't compatible with the 7941. But it would be great if it does work.

Plantronics has some nice ones (http://www.plantronics.com/us/category/office), may can be ordered with a handset lifter too.

Linh,
I think you are correct, looks like it is not on the compatibility list:
You may need to get one with a lifter :-(

There are many compatible Plantronics, Jabra as well as GN Netcom Wireless Headsets, This page has many compatible models for Cisco 79xx:

I'd recommend the Plantronics CS540, W740, Jabra Pro 9450, or Jabra Pro 920. I personally use the Jabra Pro 9450 and I love it!
