First some informations regarding my infrastructure :
WLC 2504 vers 8.3.133.0
Access points : Air-Cap 2602 , Air-Cap1532,Air-AP2802
Phones 8821 , 7925
802.11a/n/ac
802.11/b/g/n
I can provide more detail if needed.
Problem started when replacing some OLD APs with new 2802 APs
And now the problem :
I have a big problem with wifi phones (8821 , 7925 ) . In logs appear Coverage hole pre alarm for client ...(look also at the end for some other error messages) and in that time the current phone call has interruptions .
I suspect that the phone remains connected to an access point that is far away where the phone was connected previously (AP B) even if it is under or near another acces point (AP A) . So could be when roaming happens.
What I have also noticed when roaming through APs that when I come from AP2602 to AP2802 I have almost 3 seconds the phone interrupted and when go from AP2802 to AP2602 I have also a small 1 second interruption .
Also errors in logs :
CHECK_SUPP_RATES_FAILED: apf_utils.c:219 Could not check supported rates. Invalid Supported Rates from station . Length :0. Mobile MAC...
