Cisco ASr 920 stp Configuration

Hello team,

We are having 4 Cisco ASR 920 router in Customer Site at diferent location.

We Configured EVC in Router.Created a bridge domain.Created service instances for vlans.Tagged vlan in the service instances...

So right now Switching part is completed.

We are using ring type topology so that for redundancy.

Can Cisco ASR 920 only support MSTP??what about stp?,rstp? and others?

How can i configure my head quarter ASR as root Bridge...??

I need to design the primary path,So i need to change the cost of interface ....how can i do it??

Only basic configuration is available in cisco Site??

I’m afraid you did not get this right,

PE routers are not really meant to participate in customer’s L2 control plane hence very limited STP capabilities.

There are other means how to avoid L2 loops while maintaining resiliency in L2VPNs (between the bridge-domains).

I suggest you do some reading here:

-though it’s for IOS XR, it can give you nice intro to all possibilities and you can then look up how to configure it in IOS XE
