Figure 12 shows a WDM splitter cable for Non-CWDM applications. Under the picture says "The same configuration works with LX/LH and ZX GBICs or SFPs"
I don't understand how the splitter cable is connected. It seems that multilple splitter cables are needed?
Can this configuration then be used instead of a single-wavelength OADM and appropiate SFP?

there will be insertion of 2 splitter cables on each side(one for rx ,one for tx) on dark fibre.
