If a PE does not support RSVP-TE,it can still take advantage of the benifits provided by TE in the core by config LDP over RSVP on a Juniper M series
router. I learn from the Cisco whitepaper "Deploying ganranteed-bandwidth service with MPLS " that Cisco products may support this kind of application too,who knows how to config it ?

This URL should show you how to configure MPLS. http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios120/120newft/120limit/120s/120s22/fs_frnod.htm

Hi there,
LDP over Rsvp: Do you mean LDP over TE tunnels? If so, IOS supports that.
Enable LDP on the tunnel intf. On the headend, config:
int tu0
tag ip
mpls label proto ldp
Enable tailend to accept directed LDP session., On the tailend config:
mpls ldp discovery targeted-hello accept
Please let me know if this answers your question. If you have further questions pls let me know.
Best regards,
Gopal

Hello,
I am looking for this configuration on IOS-XR. Do you have a link or pointer on how to do this?
We basically want to implement LDP tunneling through RSVP-TE at the core. Edge PEs have LDP enabled, and Core routers are configured to provide RSVP-TEs.
