Hello,
I need to get statistics ( outbound queue drops ) from interface via snmp. When I use cli e.g.
sh interface ge 0/1
Result is:
[...]
Input queue: 0/75/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 28796
[...]
but when walk through snmp mib (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.27) value is: 11460553
Can anybody knows what I do wrong ?

Hi fea,
It really depends on the monitoring system you are using. I had a very similar doubt using SolarWinds just to discover that there were fields which were not clearing out even if I was clearing the interface counters by cli on the network box. You should get some docs about how your application is getting that value.

Hi Alessio,
I got answer form cisco that there is no snmp mib to measure dropped output queue for 3600. I used mib from 3560 or older platforms - that is why get strange values.
