Metro Site to Site

Hello,

Quickie....

New temporary site 1 mile away from main site connected to MPLS.

We want to connect new site with a 10M ethernet connection to existing site.

Can i just throw a L2 switch in the new site (extend the LAN)?

We have a flat topology. Or does the ethernet handoff need an IP address?

Will i need to IP the ports and install a L3 switch?     

I know this is simple, but dont remember how metro ethernet is handed off.

Sure, just buy a L2 metro service if possible, then put a switch there.
