MVPN @ Cisco ASR901

Hello,

Does anyone know if the ASR901 supports Multicast VPN (draft rosen), or if it is on the roadmap? On the CCO documentation i have nothing mentioned, so i am assuming it is no supported.

Hello dfranjoso,

MVPN is not supported on ASR901 and won't be supported in future. You should consider another platform for MVPN.

Thanks Dmytro. It seems that even IGMP and PIM it is not supported on the Global Routing Table! Can you confirm this has well? Thanks

Currently multicast is not supported on ASR901 platform and is targeted to support it at the end of 2013.
