Folks, from an equipment and configuration perspective from the service provider side, do you know how EPL and EVPL differ in the implementation in order to accomplish features described below?

It sounds like the main difference is that EVPL supports multiple EVCs and EPL does not...

I agree with you: first service is thought for emulation of a dedicated point-to-point link

The second service provides multipoint capabilities emulation by supporting multiple point-to-point  links terminated on different Vlan-ids on hub side.
