Clearing counters on atm controller - ATM DS3 Port adapter

Router#sh controller atm1/0

Interface ATM1/0 is up

Hardware is RS8234 ATM DS3

sh controllers atm1/0 | inc LCV | error

Appreciate if some one advise how do I clear the counter of atm int controller level ?.

Have you tried "clear counters atm 1/0" ?? I guess this should work to clear the counters displayed even in the show controllers command.

nope.. it will not .. I know there is other alternate way like by configuring cable length short etc., but I'm looking for other alternative way to clear controller level statistics.
