DS1201 Backplane EEPROM:

LS1010      2 68018910 0030943D7D00      256   0          0 Nov 03 1999

Hence are connected to two 3640 routers:

Router-2(config)#do siib | in ATM

Will be grateful if could be led on how to make the two routers communicates via the switch?.

You have to configure IP over PVC in both routers

R1

interface ATM1/0.1 multipoint
description R1_2

ip address 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.252
pvc 1/66
  protocol ip 1.1.1.2
  encapsulation aal5snap
!

R2

interface ATM1/0.1 multipoint
description R2_1

ip address 1.1.1.2 255.255.255.252
pvc 1/66
  protocol ip 1.1.1.1
  encapsulation aal5snap
!

Now create a VC in the LS1010 for the ports where the routers are connected.

interface ATM1/1/0
no ip address
atm pvc 1 66  interface  ATM1/0/0 1 66
