i have a small query with respect to any Service Provider core routers (P routers)
If a SP has 30 PE and they all are connecting to one P router, How many interfaces that P router would have ? is it 30 ?

Generally all the routers are not directly connected to your Provider-core router, they are having many switches in between with respect to each Point of Presence, all these Provider Edge routers communicate with the core Provider router with respect to the VLAN on L-2 and then it goes for L-3, the core router might be connected with a core switch and all this is distributed in three-level hierarchy that is core, distribution and access.
Hopeful that this answers your query
