Failover on MPLS

Hello all,

I am trying to implement fail over between point to multi point MPLS & point to multi point IP VPN

I got two service providers 1 for MPLS & 1 for IP VPN, I tried out with static routing with different metric but it didn?t work. Can one please help me out..?

It should work with a static also. I dont see a reason why it shouldnt. Only problem the switchover will happen only if your local end of the link is down, irrespective of the end-to-end link status.

Alternatively its a good idea to run any routing protocol with your IP-PE and MPLS-PE, this way everything happens automatically and reliably.
